Mango Health App Reviews

For several days now, Ive been getting zero reminders for my medicine, which has caused me to forget to take some of them. Ive gotten no push notifications, and no red dot notifications. To say that Im frustrated would be an understatement.

Ive been using Mango since April of 2015 to keep track of my meds and as a reminder to take them, I have a bunch to take at different times all throughout the day. In 2015 though, there was not an option for an "Interval Schedule/Every 3 Days" setting, but I emailed Mango and they worked on adding that option, and they did it.

I had three medications scheduled daily, but suddenly one is gone, and I cant get it to add it back in. What am I doing wrong ? Other than that, I find the app very helpful.

I really like this app and do find it helpful for increasing medication adherence. I take some less-common supplements and those arent available. It would be cool if it had a "scan" feature for supplements.

I really love Mango Health. Its gives me information regarding each medication and details of interactions and all. Nice!

New update keeps crashing. Ive tried closing the app out and restarting multiple times to no avail.

Update: Since beginning to use Mango Health App, I have added three very important habits to my medications. I have Type 1 Diabetes. Adding a check blood sugar reminder has been extremely valuable to me. I find my overall control has increased considerably. I also added a hydration reminder and a step counter. All have helped me to get healthy! I do wish that I could add to the step counter at a later time steps that I have taken when I am without my app. I really do like this app. Forgetting to take my meds and forgetting if I took my meds was becoming a really big problem. This app has pretty much eliminated that problem. I love that I can open this app in my doctors office and spout of what meds I am taking. My only suggestion would be to add a spot where I could also put in the actual dosage of each tablets milligrams, micrograms, etc. Do love this app!

Works well. This app is an excellent reminder tool. I usually remember to take my meds, but love that it is there for those times when I get busy and forget. Its not like a screaming alarm that just serves to irritate, but rather is a gentle reminder. I chose the lullaby sound for that reason.

I think the from the time you get the notification, you have very little time to respond because Ive been out, or working and got home late and they dont count me taking my medicine.

Im really enjoying this app. I love how it keeps me organized, keeps a history, and keeps reminding me when Ive forgotten to take something. Please would you add two functions that would be really useful. 1. Time change function for missed medicine. Sometimes Ill take my medicine on time but forget to check off that I took it until an hour or two later. Since Im on antibiotics right now the time is really important. 2. Add a note function. It would be great if when Im checking off that I took my medicine that I had an option to add a note as well. Thank you!

Its ok...I feel like your never actually going to win a weekly prize. And the numbers you earn dont always get added correctly.

A few years ago, I downloaded this app as it was the best available. Since then, theres been many improvements and fixes. I LOVE the app will show you drug interactions. Very helpful! The only thing I dont like is if you fail to acknowledge a reminder, all reminders will stop until its acknowledged.... And, I must say, I thought the points thing to be a gimmick...its NOT. Imagine my surprise when a level 7 award popped up. We arent talking a few bucks...level 7=$75!!! Thank you, Mango!!!!!!

Having an app that helps you remember your water intake along with when to take Rx is a plus in my book!

I have no problem with the app. I especially love the refill refills reminders.

hi yeah my app wont load its still sending me the regular notifications but when i open it it just says "loading" indefinitely. i have tried force closing it multiple times and also turning off my phone

I had shingles and had to take one pill five times a day and another three times a day. In addition to one daily led and vitamins I found this to be an excellent reminder program as well as as showing all of the contraindications and potential interactions. I find it very easy to use and helpful.

UPDATE: Since my first review, Ive spoken with the folks at Mango and I love that theyre listening. But I recently started taking a vitamin thats not in the medicine list. So I asked if it could be added via the apps support team. Been a couple of months and still no word. I understand that the app cannot accomodate everything, but it would be nice to have a generic medicine reminder so we can still get the benefit of the reminder. -------------------- I love the concept of this app. And I love that its Apple Watch compatible. But Ive found registering that Ive taken medication wonky. Sometimes it keeps the information; sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it reminds me; sometimes not. Im still committed to Mango, but I would love more consistency.
